Codyman - I'm sorry if you had already posted about your wired plastic before this - I only wanted to know if people were able to use their cards now. Like I said - I've tried a few cards - after paying the initial fee and loading them - only to have them declined at casinos. I just wanted to be sure about this one before I wasted more money.

Green Dot has always been a problem, in the far past, for me.

queen2006 ,
Just some added info....
I have had an excellent experience with the wired plastic card.
The acceptance rate (for me, anyway) has been high and can't
remember it being declined on the cards behalf, but declined due to the
casinos card processors.
I like that the transaction fee is .45 cents.... I do not like that they charge
a monthly fee, small... but, still a fee. I think it is like $3.95 or something
like that.
I am able to load it, almost anywhere I can load my NetSpend card and
sometimes the reload fee has been a dollar less than NetSpend.
I can check my balance online or by phone, for free.
And, I can get text alerts to my cell phone.

That is good... the non reloadable visa cards did not work for a long time.
Cool

Does anyone use "wired plastic" brand cards? I'm deciding whether to load it and use it or not. I've tried 3 other cards but then can't use them for casinos. Rolling Eyes Thanks

I am sorry... I just saw this. (probably too late... but). I use wired plastic to deposit and have never had a problem!!
The greendot that I had a problem with was a green dot mastercard, not a visa. It was fine to use until I put a couple hundred dollars on it and then they froze my account!!! WITH my money in it. That was a couple years ago!! I managed to get them to release my funds and immediately took the funds back via ATM and never looked back!!
From then on I used Netpend until I got my wired plastic. With Wired Plastic you can fund ANY amount. but with netspend you can only do $20, $50 $100 or $200. So that limits you. With Wired plastic you can put any amount on it as long as it is $20 or more. IF anyone is still using greendot mastercard, please change to any other brand but that one, they will eventually freeze your funds. The gift cards ended up being a pain!! Constantly buying them.. running to the store, etc. I love my Wired Plastic Visa and sometimes I even still use my Netspend Visa. I have never had a problem with either of them.
Also I load mine at Western Union OR any 7-11 convenience store!
Good Luck!! Happy Gaming!!

Hmmm, I ordered a Wired Plastic well over a year ago but never used it. It seemed like too much work to reload. If I go to 7-11, how exactly do I reload? With my netspend, I just give them the card and tell them how much. But on "low cash' weeks I deposit small amounts (20.00) but then I can't play at Rivals (25.00 minimum). Also, what are the fees?

If you have not used the card yet then you probably still have the paperwork it came with, which is very good!! I think you have to call first to activate the card (or load it and then call) They are very specific in the directions you recieve with the card. If you are going to load it at 7-11 then bring that letter you recieved which says you can load it at 7-11, cuz some of them don't know it is can be loaded at thier own store!! Rolling Eyes You load the wired plastic at 7-11 exactly the same as netspend. Tell the cashier how much you want to put on it. Any amount over $20 and there is a fee, mine is $3.95. I did find that a few of the 7-11 stores have NO clue how to load the card, even though all they have to do is swipe the card!! Laughing To load it via western union, there is a new form for "prepaid services" and you just put in your card #, the amount you want to load, make it payable to "wired plastic" and sign the form!! again the fee is only $3.95!! Good luck!

I had my card for quite a while before I activated & loaded - loaded it at WalMart and used it at INetBet - no problems. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that I used Moneygram and the Wired Plastic company charged me an extra $1.00 for the load. (Using Moneygram)
