I Need Some Good Vibes Sent In This Direction!!!

This isn't casino related so I understand if you need to delete it!

My Dad is going in tomorrow for surgery to have a large part of his colon removed (cancer). Tomorrow is prep and everything and then the actual surgery will be Thursday. As anyone who has went through this type of things with their parents, you know it's rough on the whole family. I'm 32 but still Daddy's girl..You know he is supposed to be invencible! I KNOW he will be OK!!! This man is as tough as nails! About 9 years ago he survived an auto accident where his pick up was COMPLETELY flattened (he crawled out and walked to the road to wait on help) and then about 6 years ago (even worse!) he survived a mining explosion; he's a coal miner. As they were preparing to go in and retrive his body (yes, they were that sure!) this man came walking out! He was to be in critical care at the burn center for at least 2 weeks. He walked out of the hospital in less than 1 week! When ever I get worried I think about these things. My 9 yr old daughter, who of course has her papaw wrapped around her little finger is worried, too and I keep assuring her he will be Ok, Another tough thing to deal with, too!

Anyways, any prayers, positeve thoughts, good vibes, etc, you can send this way would he so appreciated! Thanks everyone for reading!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you face the next few difficult days. God will be watching over your DAD and the rest of the family as he always does. It's really tough having to see your parents suffer and go through so much! And much harder when you yourself have a child that needs you to be strong for her. Later when you look back at this, you will realize that it was because of your DAUGHTER that you were able to cope. When we lost our son to a car accident, I felt I needed to be strong for our other kids. Later as I look back I realized too that because I felt I needed to be strong for them, it gave me the strength to get through it!! Strange how life works!!! Again thoughts and prayers and keep us informed as to how things go!!! Your NLN family is here for you!!!!

Your dad appears to be iinvincible!!!!!!!!

My mom had major surgery in 1997 for colon cancer - she was 75 years old.

In surgery for over 12 hours.

Well, she is still here with me today........

I will add your dad to my prayers.

I Hope your dad is ok......I seen this when it was first posted, and I did pray for your dad, but my intent was to come back and and let you know that he was in my prayers......sometimes life move so fast and things happen that you have no control over......my niece was attacked last night and severely beat......we just found out that they had to remove her left eye...... I need you guys to pray that she have strength to handle this......here is the story....I tried to make it clickable

britty23, OMG that is horrible and I am so sorry to hear this news of your niece I hope they catch this man and castrate the SOB. Your family will be in my prays and a special prayer for your niece to heal and over come this horrific tragedy

There is so much injustice in this world today. My mom used to say that God doesn't give you anything that you can't handle. My prayers get longer every night, but you two and your families will be included. God Bless!

guitargirl, I hope your Dad is doing okay. britty, im so sorry about your niece. They better catch the guy who attacked her and put him in prison and throw away the key.
