My hubby and I do not go out on New Years we stay home and have fodue . Then we make our New Years Resolution to each other . Then we hit the bed make love and see each other in the morning . This year I don't think none of that will happen . We are both very sick right now . I am pumping to Broth in hopes to get better but my cold has taken me to a slow pace . I right now I look like Roudolph . We both have a red shinnie nose LMAO . So I wish you all a warm and safe New Years . Please don't drink and drive call a cab but have fun .

I have too many plans for this new years, and not enough time to do them all, so this years I am not making any plans. I am not going to make any definate plans, and just do whatever feels right at the time. Whatever I do, I know I will have a great time, so I guess thats all that matters.

I have no plans for New Year. It has become a tradition for my wife and I to just chill and go wherever the new year wants to take us.... until, of course, there is somewhere or something we have to be or do. Last 2 new years ended up a bore, but the year before that.... She had a craving for a Margarita, and I wanted a fish taco.... and we ended up on Rosarita Beach, Mexico, apparrently the Birthplace of the Margarita!

Factoid: it is possible to survive at least 4 days on nothing other than Margaritas and fish tacos.

Of course, now that we have a baby girl, I'll be happy to just wake up in the morning with a hangover.

Get together with some friends do some partying, play some good rock no roll and reminisce about the old days. Then at midnight celebrate with a rendition of Auld Lang Syne on my Stratocaster, party a few more hours go to bed get up in the morning and wonder who is in jail and who isn't..

Have a great New Years everyone, be safe have fun, most importantly! don't drink to much if you are driving.

Well, if I was 30 years younger, I would be "drinking champagne and feeling no pain" but I'm not so it looks like I will be keeping grandkids so mom and dad can celebrate. If not, nothing. I will wait to see if my son (marine in 29 Palms awaiting deployment to Iraq) can call me at midnight. Kind of a tradition. He has done it since he was about 16, no matter where he is or where I am. So I will see if Uncle Sam lets the tradition continue. Plus I intend to watch the SouthPark marathon. I also am from the South and will be having blackeyed peas and greens on New Years Day.

Around here we call New Years Eve Amature night. It is the night that people who don't ordinarily imbibe go out and get totally smashed! My husband and I stay safe on New Years Eve. We stay home and have our own little celebration. We put together a New Year's Party Basket. We work on it all year long. We have a couple who are our closest friends and what good luck!, they live right next door.(so no driving with the crazy's for them eaither) Our friends will have been filling their basket all year long as well. Mine contains all sorts of wonderful foods as well as the nesessary party um, favors! LOL Something from last June that was especially good...Champagne, a great new film, couple of cd's we all love, etc. I wish I could tell you all that is in the basket but it would be a very long list and I also don't want to get arrested! I hope that all of you will stay safe and that you will have as much fun over the holiday as we will! Life is Good!

We have, since our children were little, had a family party each New Year's eve. That way no one has to get a sitter, the kids don't feel left out, and we can partake in whiskey sours and people who live close enough can crawl home if they have to

! New Year's day we go to my parents' for pork, kraut, and yes, black eyed peas for good luck, too!

Oh, and yes...we make those bloody resolutions...lose weight, quit gambling, no drinking...and yet I am still a 170 lb. drunk gambler...lol Well, truth be known, I don't gamble much and drink even less, but that

weight thing...
