For those who do not know, the new gambling legislation is not final as a whole it is in the stages of determining what will be kept and what will be removed from the bill before finalization.
It is important for all online gamblers to start voicing out “Now” before it is to late. The deal now with big business banking transfers like Neteller is very serious.
We have about seven more months before these laws and legislations will be finalized, they can still be changed so they will work for everyone. We must keep complaining and sending our message [Please use links provided below] you can do this more than once!
Important, be polite and have a good idea of what you want to say, I’m sure any e-mails or forms they receive that use slander or obscene language will be thrown in the trash.
One last thing, for all the people who are lucky enough to live in the states that are not restricted with certain gambling sites, you might want to put a word or two out! that way you keep your rights, I’m sure are government isn’t done yet.
You can also find the FAQs on Neteller at the bottom. Sounds like we got the cork screw. [For use at gambling sites No U.S.A. period.]

US Member Update
Effective Immediately
Due to recent US legislative changes and events, effective immediately, US members are no longer able to transfer funds to or from any online gambling sites.
All US members will continue to be able to use their NETELLER e-wallet account to safely transfer funds to and from non-gambling merchants and are not required to close their account or withdraw their funds.
Please note that we are experiencing higher than normal support volumes and recommend that you read the FAQs for more information.
NETELLER Member FAQs
Why is NETELLER no longer allowing US members to make fund transfers with online gambling sites?
The US government has recently introduced new legislation in the form of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. To best protect the interests of NETELLER members, employees, shareholders and business partners, NETELLER will no longer provide service to US members to transfer funds to and from online gambling merchants. Read the press release.
How do I know if I am a US member?
If your registered address with NETELLER is a US address, you are considered a US member and all of the changes indicated here and in your notification email apply to you.
Why can’t I access my instaCASH funds in my NETELLER account?
NETELLER has made a policy and technical change that has disabled instaCASH for US members.
Will I be able to use instaCASH again?
No decisions have been made regarding the future availability of this product.
Can I still use my NETELLER account?
Yes. All US members and non-US members will continue to be able to use their NETELLER e-wallet account for safe online transfers to and from non-gambling merchants, secure peer-to-peer transfers and NETELLER Card withdrawals at ATMs around the world.
Does this change affect withdrawals with NETELLER?
At this time, our ability to provide US members with withdrawals is significantly reduced due to circumstances outside of our control. We are working to resolve all withdrawal issues, but in the meantime we continue to maintain these funds in trust on your behalf until we can clear the backlog.
What’s the quickest and most convenient way to withdraw funds from my NETELLER account?
The NETELLER Card is the quickest and most convenient withdrawal option. When you transfer funds from your NETELLER e-wallet account to your NETELLER Card, you can withdraw those funds from any ATM cash machine on the Cirrus/Maestro network and Pulse Star network, depending on your country of residence. You will have to pay a nominal fee for NETELLER Card withdrawals, but your funds will be available from 15 minutes to an hour after they are transferred to your card. Learn more.
Is my money safe in my NETELLER account?
Yes, your money is safe with NETELLER. All members can hold their funds safely in their NETELLER accounts until such time as they decide to move the funds. The changes in gambling merchant transfers do not affect the ability of US member to maintain funds in their NETELER e-wallet accounts.
NETELLER protects all members’ funds (all deposited, in-transit and un-cleared funds) by holding the value in independent trust accounts. As the largest independent online money transfer business in the world, we maintain our head office in Europe and are a publicly quoted company on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. NETELLER UK Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
Am I required to withdraw my money from NETELLER?
No, there is no requirement for US members to withdraw their funds from their e-wallet accounts. US members will still be able to use their NETELLER e-wallet accounts for safe online transactions to non-gambling merchants, secure peer-to-peer transfers and instant payouts with the NETELLER Card.
Does this change affect non-US members?
No, NETELLER customers with registered addresses outside of the US will not be affected by these changes. The company will continue to operate its non-US business as normal, maintaining all existing products, services, customer and merchant support across all the other countries it currently serves.
How can US members find out about changes to their NETELLER services?
NETELLER will continue to notify you of any pertinent changes to your service. All members will continue to have access to this FAQ site for answers to the most commonly asked questions, but members can also register to receive all NETELLER press releases, by signing up for our e-news alert service.
I am a US resident. Can I still become a NETELLER member?
No. We have temporarily suspended the ability for US residents to create a NETELLER e-wallet account.
Why were the founders of your company arrested?
Although we can confirm that Steve Lawrence and John Lefebvre were detained separately while in the United States, we do not know the details surrounding the detention and cannot provide more clarification. We can confirm that both individuals are no longer employees or board members of NETELLER and have not been involved in the day-to-day running of the company for a number of years. The Company has no direct relationship with these individuals today other than as shareholders.
Why was NETELLER stock suspended from trading?
As a precautionary measure, we asked the London AIM Stock Market to temporarily suspend trading in our shares, effective January 16, 2007. We requested this action to help protect all shareholders from any negative impact the recent detentions might have until more facts are known. Once we understand the situation in greater detail, we will ask the AIM to allow our shares to trade again.

My email to Senator Salazar of Colorado:
I am a voter. I do not approve of the passing of the US port act with the amendment making online gambling bank transactions illegal. This is a democracy. Millions of Americans gamble in some form or another.
There is no reason not to tax and regulate online gambling excactly like our allies in the United Kingdom have done with great profit. We could pay for all Iraq expenses with this new tax income. If the government hates money, and does not wish to tax online gambling then
please do not tell me where I can spend my money.
I am an American, and I am a gambler. Our country was founded by a group of gamblers
who took a huge risk to come to the new world and then a larger gamble to revolt and form a new country. Do not look down on gamblers. Anyone who trades stock is a gambler.
Please stop this unpopular bill and keep America free.
My deepest Respect
Tawnia

here is the quick note I wrote to my congressman:
RE: Gambling Ban
Sir,
I urge you to please reconsider this Un-American ban on internet gambling. I live in Oregon, where the lottery thrives, video poker machines are on every corner, off-track betting, and worst of all multiple casino's are here. Yet, I, as a working, tax-paying American can NOT gamble on-line with my own money? I heard that this ban was piggy-backed onto some other bill, so I hope this was just a miss on your behalf, if so, please re-consider what this is saying about the working man's and woman's freedom's. SHouldn't we really have the last word what we spend our money on? Thank you in advance for your consideration.
Sincerely,
T.J Carey

Here is mine to Sen. John Cornyn - TX
Once again the "Government" has made the United States the laughing stock of the free world.
I am a born and bred Texan and I cannot believe that I am being told where and when I can spend my own money. I am a member of the gambling community, enjoying online as well as casino gambling. The idea that a select few people can tell me what I can and cannot do with my money is horrifying to me. But the fact that the Internet Gambling Bill was allowed to be stuck on such a necessary bill as the Ports Security bill is more horrendous. Can Sen. Frist sink any lower than to denegrate the importance of our national security with something as stupid as online gambling? Our country was founded on the premise of life and liberty for all, not on the premise "you can do it if the "Government" lets you". My sone is a Marine, soon to be deployed to Iraq, and I feel that such underhanded action as has been done with this bill is no different what he will b e fighting for - FREEDOM.

I wrote Senator Feinstein here it is:
Senator Feinstein:
I am writing in regards to the recently passed laws banning internet gambling. Attempts to legislate morality failed miserably when big government forced this country into prohibition in the early 1900s. One needs to only review the historical perspective of prohibition. Our society perceived the drinking of alcohol as a victimless offense, one that was entered into voluntarily. This activity had its own social rewards. These social rewards led the public to ignore the narrow moral issue that led to prohibition. Laws that were created to protect Americans from morally going astray, did quite the opposite instead, it gave rise to their imaginative methods of evading such laws thus, the bootlegger was born; A 'criminal' invented by an underclass of citizens that profited by establishing methods by which society could circumvent the laws of prohibition. Furthermore, banning particular behaviors or forms of entertainment that some people choose, is big government forcing its mother-hen agenda on the American public.
After all, George Washington deplored the rampant gambling at Valley Forge, but allowed it to go on since it helped fund his army. Gambling has paid for the establishment of Harvard, Princeton and Dartmouth Universities. George Washington also endorsed the lottery that would end up funding the construction of the city that now bears his name. Gambling is, however, as American as the Gold Rush or, for that matter, Wall Street.
Granted, some people gamble too much. And some people eat too many cheeseburgers. Do we need to protect the weak-willed members of our society by criminalizing cheeseburgers? By embracing the ban and giving way to the logic that gave birth to the criminalization of Internet Gambling, one can only wonder what liberties we may be stripped of in the future. This Ban, passed without a vote from the people by a government that would like its people to believe it’s (en)acting of such laws is somehow saving the citizens of the United Stares from the black-hole of despair that internet gambling is sure to cause. Given that obesity affects almost have of all school age children and absolutely can cause major health issues for those inflicted by weight issues, it follows that we need to explore the idea of banning of criminalizing the act of a night out with the family at your neighborhood McDonald’s fast food chain.
As an adult, I find it offensive and alarming that the lawmakers, for whom I helped elect feel they have the right to regulate or dictate exactly how I spend my hard earned money. .
As an adult, American citizen with all the rights afforded to me as a citizen of the U.S. would like my chance to be heard. I want my vote to be counted on this issue of internet gambling, it is absurd that I am entitled to vote for the President of my country and yet I have to resort to seeking out a bootlegger of sorts, when it comes to how I choose to entertain myself after a long day of work I want to choose how I spend my money; after taxes of course.
Sincerely a registered voter in California

kisssssssss at all amercans , i am with you by heart:)
